Blume begins with a journey. From the vibrant streets of Osaka, a master tobacco artisan named Hiroshi set out with a single idea: shisha could be more than a pastime, it could carry a story. Along the legendary Silk Road route, each stop added a new layer to what would become Blume’s signature atmosphere. In Beijing and Shanghai, he encountered delicate tea-scented tobaccos that felt light, aromatic, and precise. In Uzbekistan’s spice-filled souks, rose and cardamom brought warmth and depth. In Istanbul, nutmeg, apricot, and layered spices reflected a city shaped by crossings, trade, and shared rituals. Those discoveries shaped a vision built around connection, flavour, and a sense of place.
Blume was imagined as a meeting point. The table would celebrate Mediterranean cuisine for its freshness, Japanese flavors for their precision, and international inspirations that reflect the diversity of travel. This is not a concept built around contrast for its own sake, it is built around harmony.
